Friday

Honey:  "Lucy, you could move over a little bit!  Why do you always have to sit in the middle?"

Natalie:  "oooooh lookie!  A fuzzy birdy! I would make him my friend!"

Honey:  "Why thank you for moving one inch!"

Natalie:  "oooooh, look at the one with the yellow beaks!"

Lucy:  "(sigh) I wonder if Boy Cat is coming over today?  I mean, uh, oh yes look at those birdies".

Boy Cat Meets the Girls

Lucy meeting Boy Cat.  She was chirping like a Dolphin!

Honey to the left sitting on the stair...hissing, growling, generally telling him to kindly leave!  Like she's Lucy's over-protective God Mother or something!

Boy Cat decided to let the girls growl and hiss and chirp at him...knowing full well they love him!  haha!

Where's Natalie?  Well, at first all 3 were at the door watching the birds.  I heard Lucy chirp and then saw Boy Cat sitting there.  Natalie immediately got the "I'm not suppose to talk to boys" look and left!  haha!

Boy Cat!

It's the best picture I could get of him at midnight.  He wouldn't sit still.  May I introduce you to Boy Cat.  While I was taking this picture, Lucy was at the stairs STARING at him.  I think she's in looooove.

Anyway, I did find out Boy Cat lives across the street in the 4 plex...so he's not homeless.  He also has a new collar with a tiny bell so we can hear him coming!  He's very friendly and polite.  

Saturday Morning

Honey:  "Hey, what are you guys doing?"

Lucy/Nats:  "Getting fresh air in our noses and bird watching!"

Stewie:  "Lucy get down, you are ripping the screen!"

Honey/Nats/Lucy:  "Ahhhhhh..."

Oregon Trail

Stewie:  I'm going to guess this is a school project.  Hmmm...looks like Buddy in the wagon and Bixby pulling.  Very cute!!!

Ok...this may be the cutest puppy in the world!  

Wild Life

It's me Stewie.  Just thought you'd want an update on the Wild Life around my house.

Gunther was getting a shirt out of his closet and thought he could hear the chirping birds a little close.  So he opened the door to the attic and there she was...a teensy sparrow sitting in the window singing her beak off!  I think the song was "I was in the eaves building my nest and saw another small hole, I decided to climb through and found the biggest bird house in the land!  I am queen and ruler!"

We have 3 stray cats that come by at night.  One calico who is very sweet and afraid.  Another long hair gray cat that is indifferent.  And an orange tabby I have named Boy Cat.  Boy Cat is a character.  He comes and meows and sings at the back door.  He wants me to come out and play.  He also tried to get in!  He sprays our back door.  After I get back inside and doors closed, Miss Natalie is AT the door.  Eyes wide and sniffing and meowing.  Hmmmmmm...I think she has a crush on Boy Cat.  

I'll get pictures when I can....I'm sure Boy Cat will pose!  

Rulez

Ok, so if you come to Stewie's house and need to use the bathroom, the first thing you'll need to do is gently ask the cats to leave.  Second, the toilet paper will be on the shelf because Lucy cannot stop shredding it!  Thank you for helping us with the new rulez.

Saturday Sunbeams

Note:  Lucy was on the blanket next to Natalie, but took off when I got the camera out and plopped in the cool spot in the hall.

Stewie:  "Um, Lucy we can't see the TV!"

Lucy:  "Better?"

Stewie:  "ha ha, very funny!"

They start to roll and bite each other's necks...Lucy bops Nat in the head.

Natalie slowly goes back to her corner.  Lucy licks her paw.  Just another day for these two!
